Ning Rules

Remember two things about posting content to the Internet: It's public, and it's permanent.

Follow these rules on this site:
1. This is a class project, so you must behave (post) as if you are in class when using the Ning.

2. This is a public space, so present yourself with dignity and communicate with civility. Limit personal information. Use only your first name and last initial.

3. You may not link to private blogs, MySpace or Facebook accounts.

4. This is solely for RB16 News students. You may not invite anyone else to join. Only Mrs. Sarkady can make invitations.

5. Failure to follow these rules will lead to you being suspended or banned from this site.

Welcome to the RB16 Ning!

You may be wondering what a Ning is. It's a social networking site that keeps members connected to a specific topic of interest. What is our Ning? Our Ning is designed for members to share thoughts, ideas, videos, and constructive critique of our work.

rb16news.ning.com will be the hub of communication for this year’s broadcast journalism classes at RBHS. This is not the RB16 website (we will create that site later on a different platform). We will use this Ning to start discussing the website and broadcast production.

This is the place for your ideas, brainstorms and creativity. It's also the place to share anything and everything that you learn about today's media world. This is the spot to post a link to the news story you just read, a show you just watched, the website you just found, the cool widget or tool you discovered. This is the place for ideas on what RB16 News should do and look like.

What can you add? Anything. Photos, videos, ideas, questions, discussions, calendar events, etc... You are the content creators of this site. It is yours! I'm just getting it started (Don't forget to read the rules before you begin...see left side of screen).

We are going to have an amazing year. Let's get it started right now.
